Hi guys!
Long time no update...
After a long slack from drawing Pasig, (yeah, seeing my original pages like this ika-siyam.deviantart.com/art/p… because of the flood is really disheartening) I'm back to drawing (and redrawing) Pasig: Epilogue.
I'll also be uploading Pasig 15.5 pages which first appeared in Fresh: "A comic book anthology" in English, for the non-Tagalog reading denizens of DeviantArt. The comicbook is still available, so if you still don't have a copy, do drop by the CC booth at the Philippine Summer Komikon 2010.
That's all for now, and enjoy reading Pasig 15.5.
Thanks!
-Melvin

100 Araw ng Komik(Day 7): CCCom Trivia
There's an ongoing 100 day campaign to promote Philippine Comics on the web.
Each month will have a different topic. For July, all posts will be about our own comic titles and any trivia about Philippine comics, or what we call KOMIKS.
So as part of this event, I'll be posting CCCom trivia. It is day 7 of the campaign. So here's the continuation of....
Stuff you (probably) didn't know about Culture Crash Comics
- Issue one had a glaring typo at the cover
and tons of typos soon after. The Newtypo back cover on Issue 2 proved prophetic indeed.
- CCCom merchandise included: A Tammy Tamaraw stuffed toy, character trading cards, CC

Stuff you (probably) didn't know about Culture Crash Comics
- The first two issues of CCCom had very minimal ad exposure. We only had word of mouth and a poster to promote the product. Oh, yeah those posters got snatched up pretty quick too, so I guess it was just word of mouth. It was

Each month will have a different topic. For July, all posts will be about our own comic titles and any trivia about Philippine comics, or what we call KOMIKS.
So as part of this event, I'll be posting CCCom trivia for starters. I'll try to post as much as I can.

Stuff you (probably) didn't know about Culture Crash Comics
- English was the original language of choice for CCCom, with an overwhelming 3 (Jio, Memer, and me) is to 1 vote against Tagalog. But then again, that 1 vote was James' so we had no choice. (Yay! Democracy!) The move to use Tagal
